Fueling Oregon’s Future: Jiffy Lube of Oregon and the OSAA

We're thrilled to announce that Jiffy Lube of Oregon is the Official Oil Change Partner of the Oregon High School Activities Association (OSAA)! This partnership is about more than just motor oil; it's about investing in the future of Oregon’s young people.

The mission of the OSAA is to serve member schools by providing leadership and state coordination for the conduct of interscholastic activities, which will enrich the educational experiences of high school students. The OSAA will work to promote interschool activities that provide equitable participation opportunities, positive recognition and learning experiences to students, while enhancing the achievement of educational goals.

Why the OSAA Matters
Think about the roar of the crowd at a state championship game, the focus of a student during a debate, or the dedication of a marching band. The OSAA makes these experiences possible. They provide:

• Life Skills Development: Fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-discipline through athletics and activities.
• Community Building: Strengthening the fabric of Oregon communities by bringing people together.
• Diverse Opportunities: Today, the OSAA sponsors 113 team and 426 individual event state championships for students competing in 19 interscholastic activities.

The OSAA’s Vital Role
The OSAA goes beyond just organizing games. They are the driving force behind:

• State Championships: Coordinating all Oregon High School Playoffs, Tournaments, and Championships.
• Governance and Regulation: Serving as the non-profit governing body for high school athletics and activities.
• Member Support: Working with schools to establish rules, procedures, health initiatives, and special programs.
• Oversight and Training: Managing officials/referees, middle school athletics, coaches, and student-athletes.
