Jiffy Lube of Oregon/SW Washington is thrilled to announce the Teen Driver category winners of the 2025 Jiffy Lube "What Drives You?" High School Scholarship program:

The Jiffy Lube "What Drives You?" High School Scholarship Program is a unique opportunity to pursue your interests, goals and ideas. This unique scholarship program allows local high school students the chance to express their “inner drive” and personal ambitions by simply writing a 500 word or less essay on “What Drives You?” No other requirements!

Back in 2004, local Oregon/SW Washington Jiffy Lube owners generously sponsored a unique video and scholarship opportunity to all Utah high school driver education students - the "your turn behind the wheel" program.  The program then expanded to include all Utah high school students with the opportunity to simply express their goals and passions with a 500 word essay on "What Drives You?"  

Since that beginning, thousands of students have been motivated by this question to submit their essays.  A total of $59,000 in scholarships has been awarded to 38 Oregon/SW Washington high school students and $5,500 donated to schools for submitting the most essays per region.
